On each of our job application forms, you'll be asked for:

  • Anything else you'd like to let us know about you
What does the application process look like?

It depends. Each job is different. Once you've submitted your application, we'll review it and reach out with more details within a few business days. We may request one or more remote interviews with various members from our team. We're a company with a flatter hierarchy, so you may even get the opportunity to interview with our CEO! But don't worry, these interviews are meant to be relaxed and conversational, so that we can get to know you better as a person. Just be yourself.

Where does ChartVPS operate from?

We are headquartered in Toronto, Canada, but we also have team members in Serbia, India, and the Philippines. We consider ourselves to be geo-agnostic and are open to hiring folks from all over the world.

Is the work in-person or remote?

We’re embracing a flexible work environment with both remote and in-person roles—and we’re opening more office locations soon. Each job listing will clearly state whether it’s remote, on-site, or hybrid, so you can find the setup that suits you best.

What does a typical day at ChartVPS look like?

There’s really no such thing as a “typical day” here. For our customer support team, each day is different—just like the markets we serve. And because we operate with a flat, nimble structure, we can pivot quickly whenever customer demands change. There’s always something new to keep you on your toes.

What else can I do to prepare for an interview?

First and foremost, be yourself. We're looking for authentic people who aren't trying to tell us what we want to hear. Rather, we're looking for natural fits - people who share our values and interests and want to contribute to - and further - the goals of the company.

Second, come prepared. We don't expect every applicant to have a complete, unshakable understandable of the financial hosting industry. But we do expect you to do your research about the company and the industry. A baseline level of knowledge is critical for us to be able to have an effective conversation with you.

Finally, don't be afraid to ask questions. We value curiosity, and it shows us that you have a genuine interest in the subject matter. 

Can I save my application and come back to it later?

No, we don't currently offer the means of saving an application that hasn't been completed. We recommend compiling your application offline and submitting everything all at once through our website.

Can I change my application after I've submitted it?

Formally, no. But when you speak to us during an interview, feel free to provide any updated details or corrections that you need to.
